Vanessia Ann Smith of Blytheville, AR was born May 14, 1963, in Columbus, MS to the late Earnestine Petty. She worked in house keeping for a factory and was a member of Greater First Baptist in Steele, MO. Mrs. Smith passed away on September 08, 2021, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 58. She is preceded in death by her mother Earnestine Petty, her brother Roosevelt Petty and one sister Shirley Finch. She is survived by her husband Melvin Smith of Luxora, AR, four sons Anthony Williams of Blytheville, AR, Melvin Smith, Jr. of Osceola, AR, Will Smith also of Blytheville, AR, Lee Robinson of Luxora, AR, one brother Melvin Petty of Blytheville, AR, four sistersBbetty Little, Viola Selvy and Bessie Williams all of Blytheville, AR, and Joann Petty of Jonesboro, AR,, and seven grandchildren. The visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR, with the funeral immediately following at 2:00 P.M., Pastor John Selvy will be officiating.  Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville, AR;.
