Shirley Ann Weatherspoon, 74, passed away on January 24, 2023, at UAMS hospital in Little Rock, AR. Shirley was born on July 24,1948 in Hughes, AR to the late J.L. DeBose and Willie Mae Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents J.L Debose and Willie Mae Johnson-Debose and one sister Leana Debose.
She survived by her husband Roy Weatherspoon of Blytheville, AR; two sons Gary DeBose of Blytheville, AR and Roy Weatherspoon Jr. of Jonesboro, AR; seven daughters Rochell Williams of Osceola, AR, Sharon Jackson of Conway, AR, Melody Anderson, Miesha Davenport, Arlinda Williams, Dawnn Weatherspoon & Constance DeBose all of Blytheville, AR; two brothers John DeBose of Blytheville and Earnest DeBose of Osceola, AR; twenty- seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
A visitation service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 4,2023 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 2PM with Pastor Bennie Washington officiating . Burial service will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville. Wilson Funeral Home will conduct all services.
