Shirley Jean Morris passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 87. She was born September 13, 1938, in Amory, Mississippi, to Melvin and Ruby West Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Morris, three brothers Dwight Brown, Rodney Brown and Donald "Bo" Brown, one sister Dorothy Isbell Robinson and one grandson Harold Morris. Shirley is survived by one son Larry Morris (Linda) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, one daughter Tina Roig (Jacob) of San Francisco, California, two sisters Joyce Patsy Williams of Anderson, South Carolina and Linda Cox (Richard) of West Memphis, Arkansas, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas, with Reverend Mark Gasque officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, Arkansas.
