Shirley Faye Moreland, 81, of Leachville, passed away April 28, 2025, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.  She was the manager for Jr. Food Mart for years and attended the Church of Christ.  Mrs. Moreland was born January 23, 1944, in Marie to Otis Hodge and Olevia Yarbrough Hodge.  She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Robert Moreland; one brother, Jimmy Hodge; and one sister, Polly Reeves.  She is survived by one daughter, Heidi (Nicholas) Cagle of Leachville; four brothers, Bobby Hodge of Phoenix, Arizona, Larry Hodge and Danny Hodge both of Wilson, and Billy Hodge of Jasper, Missouri, six sisters, Peggy Oss of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Linda Ricketts of Brandon, Florida, Ruth Glasgow of Gaffrey, South Carolina, Joanne South of Lepanto, Patsy Jane Teegan of Plymouth, Michigan, and Sandy Harris of Hernando, Mississippi, and two grandchildren, Whit and Jaylyn Cagle of Leachville.  There will be a Graveside Service at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11 AM with Bro. David Price officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the arrangements.
