Shirley Jean McClelland, 75, of Turrell, passed away August 20, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of Milan Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in Heafer. Ms. McClelland was born March 6, 1947 in Crawfordsville, AR to Royal David Hooker and Zettie Hamilton Easley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmy McClelland, three brothers Donald Hooker, Carl David Hooker and Dickie Easley and one sister Betty Vannetter. She is survived by one son Glenn "Kristi" Loyd of Marked Tree, one brother James Ellis Hooker of West Memphis, five sisters Eula Mae Taylor of Turrell, Janie Blaylock of Wynne, Ruby Russell and Martha McBryde of Heber Springs and Connie Keathley of Marion and one grandchild Kassi "Kaleb" Posey. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10 - 11AM with the funeral at 11 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR with Bro. Gary Andrews and Rev. Janice McClelland officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR will be in charge of arrangements.
