Sharon Kay Beard passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, in Manila, AR at the age of 78. She was born on June 23, 1947, in Pocahontas, AR to James Helms and Edwinna Nelson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis Beard, two brothers, one sister and one grandchild. Sharon is survived by her two sons Albert Mauppins Jr and James Bradley Mauppins of Osceola, AR, one sister, one grandchild and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas.
