Sarah Lee Rowden, 92, of Osceola, Arkansas, passed away June 2, 2025, St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born February 4, 1933, in Marks, Mississippi, to the late Leroy Jones and Helen Anderson Jones.  Mrs. Rowden was a member of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church, the Motherboard, and a former choir member.  She was preceded in death both of her parents, her husband, Terry Rowden, one son, Joe Lee Jackson, Sr, two brothers, Leroy Jones, Jr. and Dallas Jones,  Sarah will be survived by one son, Charles (Rosie) Jones of Caruthersville, Missouri, 7 daughters, Carolyn Thompson and Sarah Frazier both of Osceola, Arkansas, Brenda K. (Fred) Watkins of Paragould, Arkansas, Rochelle (Donald) Riley of DeRidder, Louisiana, Valerie Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, Roycestine (Earnest) Britman, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Beverly Rowden of Dallas, Texas, two sisters, Lula Harris of Osceola, Arkansas, and Royce Davis of O'Fallon, Illinois, 29 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Visitation for Mrs. Rowden will be Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.  Her service will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2 PM at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church with Pastor Ed Richardson will be officiating.  Sarah Lee Rowden will be laid to rest at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas.
