Roy Lee Heggins, 71, passed away July 24, 2026, at his home in Osceola.

He was born July 15, 1955, in Tyronza, AR, to Hubert and Juanita Heggins.

Roy was a high school graduate and a retired soldier of the US Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son; Lindsay Maurice Heggins, one sister; Helen Spears and six brothers; Jimmy Heggins, Earl Heggins, Wilford Heggins, Gary Wayne Heggins, Joseph Heggins and David Heggins.

Roy is survived by one son; Lewis Heggins of Osceola, five sisters; Harriet Bolden and Janie Heggins of Joiner, Dr. Martha Higgins of New York, NY, Donna Heggins Brown of Atlanta, GA and Paulette Heggins Carter of Dallas, TX and two grandchildren.

Visitation is Saturday, August 1, 2026, 9-10AM, Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral is Saturday, August 1, 2026, 10AM, Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Burial will be at Shady Grove in Evadale.
