Romia Jackson, 77, of Joiner, passed away October 30, 2022 at his home. He was a retired Heavy Machine Operator, Welder and a member of Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Mr. Jackson was born October 7, 1945 in Turrell to George and Odelia Dixon Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son George Jackson, six brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife Flora Mae Jackson of Joiner, five sons Anthony Jackson, Melvin Jackson and Terry Jackson of Springfield, MO, Eddie Brown of Joiner and Romia Jackson, Jr. of New Albany, MS, three daughters Rochell Jackson of Jacksonville, Jessica Jackson of Osceola and Meredith Harris (Nelson) of Keiser, four brothers Moses Jackson of Joiner, Oliver Jackson of Waterloo, IA, Edgar Charles Jackson and George Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, two sisters Odellia Hill of Savannah, GA and Joshlar Jackson of West Memphis, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 9-10AM with the funeral at 10 AM at Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Burial will be at Rivercrest Gardens in Marie, AR with Pastor Bryant Whitted officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge of arrangements.
