Rodney Duane Laster, Sr., 47, of Trumann, passed away June 24, 2025 in Jonesboro. He was a farmer and attended Living Word Church of God in Tyronza. Rodney was born August 11, 1977 in Memphis, TN to Kenneth Lee Laster, Sr. and Scharlote Loyd Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlotte Laster, one brother Kenneth Lee Laster, Jr. and one sister Connie Lee Laster. He is survived by two sons Christopher (Madison) Armstrong of Cherokee Village and Rodney (MaKayla) Laster of Brookland, one stepson Jayden Gross of Trumann, one daughter Cortney Herron of Trumann, three brothers Ronnie Laster of Luxora, Donnie (Cynthia) Laster and Johnnie Laster of Kennett, MO, one sister Ronda Taber of Jonesboro and seventeen grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11 AM - 2 PM with the funeral at 2 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Sis. Gwen Hooker officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the services.
