Robert Lee Story, 76, formerly of Osceola, passed away July 7, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Mr. Story was born August 3, 1948, in Caruthersville, Missouri, to the late William Christopher Story and Gladys Sebree Smith.  He was a retired factory worker and volunteer firefighter.  He loved fishing and hanging out with his grandkids.  Mr. Story was preceded in death by both his parents and two brothers, Dennis Story and Sterling Story.  He is survived by his wife, Virginia Story of Blue Mountain, Mississippi, three daughters, Pam (Glen) Tanner of Cabot, Beth (Toby) Taylor and  Amanda (Jackie) Hopkins of Blue Mountain, Mississippi, one sister, Linda Story of Texas, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola from 10 to 11 with the funeral to follow immediately after, starting at 11 am. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.  Bro. Robert Day and Hunter Hopkins will be officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola will be in charge of his arrangements.
