Robert Calvin
Lard
Oct 16, 1953 — May 29, 2026
Tyronza
Robert Calvin “Bobby” Lard lived a life full of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. He was born on October 16, 1953, and departed this life May 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the many lives he touched.
Bobby was a devoted husband who deeply loved his wife, Maria, and found great joy in spending his life by her side. He was a proud and loving father to his eight children, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His grandchildren truly “hung the moon” in his eyes, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His family continued to grow, blessing him with 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who brought him immeasurable happiness.
A skilled diesel mechanic by trade, Bobby was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to fix just about anything. Beyond his work, he had a whimsical spirit and a love for collecting and creating little trinkets that reflected his unique personality and brought him joy.
Bobby lived a remarkably full life—one filled with experiences, love, and adventures that his family and friends had the honor of sharing with him. He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and lessons that will be carried on by all who knew and loved him.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Lard; his brother, Johnny (Barbara); his sister, Rose; his sons, Adam, Daniel (Emily), and James (Ryleigh); his daughters, Tonya (George), Meagan (Rickey), Kaitlyn (Blake), Rachel, and Sarah (Carson); his grandchildren, Hannah, Colby (Hannah), Tristan, Reid, Emma, Marc, Sloane, Josh, Samuel, Everleigh, Magnolia, Lyle, Parker, Macyn, Dylan (Saliah), and Dalton’s spouse, Hayley; and his great-grandchildren, Samson, Andrew, Bowen, Isabella, Cayden, Conner, and Bentley, along with many other loved ones whose lives were enriched by his presence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara, and stepfather, Gene; his father, Hubert; his brother, Cooper; his sister, Mary Lynn; his brother-in-law Freddy; and his grandson, Dalton.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, his love, laughter, and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
