Richard L. Collier, Sr., 75, passed away August 1, 2023 at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, AR. He was born March 4, 1948 in Colt, AR to Arthur Lee and Bertha Munn Collier. Mr. Collier was a retired mechanic and a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Richard L. Collier, Jr., one brother John Westley Ellis, six sisters Alice Smith, Floydie Lee Schock, Maxine Beard, Jessie Evelyn Young, Clara Faye Hooker and Roxanne Flemming. He is survived by three sons Timothy (Jessica) Collier, Travis Collier and Kevin (Hanna) Collier of Marked Tree, AR, his daughter-in-law Julie Collier of Heber Springs, AR, six grandchildren Zac Collier, Jordan Collier, Jake (Hayley) Collier, Emilee Collier, Hayden Collier and Alexis Collier and one great grandchild Lucian Collier. Graveside services will be Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:30AM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR with Bro. Patrick Tucker officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR is in charge of the services.
