Remona Dezett Isable, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at her home in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was born on April 2, 1962, in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was an only child of Josephine Isable and Nonnie Isable Jr. who both preceded her in death. She was a graduate of the class of 1980 from Caruthersville High School. She confessed a hope in Christ at the age of 12 under the leadership of W.H. Simmons at 12th Street Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, where she sang in the choir. She later moved her family to Blytheville, Arkansas, where she lived until her passing. She leaves to mourn her passing five children. One son; L.C. Nelson 3rd of Blytheville, Arkansas and four daughters; Crystal Nelson of Carbondale, Illinois, Shakeena Jefferson of Blytheville, Arkansas, Candice Williams of Evansville, Indiana, and Shamonee Isable of Steele, Missouri, and 32 grandchildren. Remona is survived by her special friend Walter Rand and her friend Lemond Riley. Remona lived her life to the fullest with the simple pleasures such as talking to family and friends, cooking, and spending time with her grand kids. Remona "Mona" shared a special love to each and every one of us. She will be missed very much. We love you momma, grandma, and friend. Visitation will be on Saturday August 2, 2025, 1p.m-2p.m at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas with the funeral following at 2p.m. Burial will be Memory Gardens. Rev. Doug Echols will be officiating the services. Wilson Funeral Home will be charge of services.
