Raymond Leonard Stokes, 87, of Blytheville, AR, passed away May 24, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Hospice in Jonesboro, AR. Born July 8, 1936, to the late W.C. Stokes and the late Annie Madewell in Melbourne, AR. Raymond worked as a factory worker at Bush's Canning Company up to his retirement and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. and Annie Stokes, his wife, Bonnie Stokes, two brothers, J.P. Stokes and Clarence Stokes.

He is survived by four nephews, Eugene Stokes of Gosnell, AR, Leonard Stokes, Donald Stokes both of Blytheville, AR, and Barney Stokes of Harrisburg, AR, and three nieces, Lynn Parsons of Gosnell, AR, Ruby Young of Heth, AR, and Charlotte Humble of Gosnell. AR.

Services for Raymond will be Tuesday May 28, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR, with the visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and the funeral to follow at 2:00. Rev. Burton Furlow will be officiating. The burial will take place at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville, AR.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR, will be in charge of the arrangements.
