Raymond Marshall was born on May 27, 1928, to Dillard and Annie Mae Marshall in Joiner, Arkansas. He traveled the world as a truck driver for over 70 years with a trade and hobby of small engine repair man until retirement. We will miss the wisdom and jokes tat he always gave us he will be greatly missed.
Raymond entered eternal rest on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Great River Medical Center at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his parents Dillard and Annie Mae Marshall, his brothers Elisha Marshall, Dillard Marshall, Robert Marshall and Otis Gray, His sisters Earnestine Collins and Charlie Mae McFarland, His sons Raymond Marshall Jr., Carl Marshall, and Roy-Lee Marshall and one daughter Cookie Marshall.
He leaves to cherish his memories of his beloved and faithful wife of 55 years Vera Lee Marshall of the home. Two sons Bobby Chalk of Los Angeles, CA, and Larry (Juliet) Cole of Augusta, Georgia, Two daughters Charlie Mae (Beenie)Banks of Blytheville, AR, and Freddie Mae ( Jerry ) Thomas of Clarksville, Tennessee and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at New Mt. Olive Church from 1PM-2PM and funeral service will be following at 2PM with Pastor Douglas Echols officiating . The burial ceremony will be at Memory Garden in Blytheville, AR. Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville will conduct services.
