Odesther Young, 100, passed away August 17, 2026, in Blytheville.

She was born July 4, 1926, in Mariana, AR, to Augusta Swapshire and Dessa Mae Kelly.

Odesther was a homemaker, midwife, member of Princess Chapel and a longtime resident of Mississippi County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Bo Young, four sons; Frank Young, Willie T. Young, Sammy T Young, Baby Boy Young, four daughters; Bobbie Jean Lowery, Elizabeth Dabney, Vera Mae Young, Tommie Davis, and one sister; Elizabeth Kelly.

Odesther is survived by one son; Bobby Lowery of Osceola, eight daughters; Exie Webb, Vanessa Byrd, Tamela Gladney and Elizabeth Washington all of Osceola, Dorothy Williams of Pearland, TX, Willie Mae Greene of Atlanta, GA, Ira Proctor of Blytheville, Princilla Scott of Memphis, TN, three God sons; Ray Riley and Dee Riley of Osceola, Ervin Goodlow of West Memphis, AR, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral is Saturday, August 22, 2026, 2:00 PM at New Mt Pleasant in Osceola, Minister Harold James officiating.

Burial is at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
