Mary Evelvine Woods, 88, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Jonesboro, AR. She was born on December 27, 1935, in Earle, Arkansas, to the late James Aubrey Morgan and Bessie Lee (Lindsey) Morgan.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Edward Woods; one son: Johnny Edward Woods; three daughters: Shirley Ann Hatley, Ruth Foreman, and Janice Lung; one granddaughter: Shanda Daniels; one great-grandson: Chance Hunter Lung; two brothers: Junior Morgan and Ed Morgan; and one sister Sue Campbell.

Mary is survived by her son, Jimmy Joe Woods of Trumann, AR; one daughter: Brenda (Kenneth) Ticer of Florence, AL; two brothers Jerry Morgan of Trumann, AR and Charles Morgan of Corinth, MS; three sisters: Peggy Bell of Tyronza, AR, Betty Cooksey of Trumann, AR, and Loraine Hurst of Corinth, MS; along with ten grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 100 West Main St., Tyronza, AR, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm, with Lin Reynolds officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at Tyronza Cemetery.

Mary will be remembered for her kind heart, love for her family, and dedication to her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
