Mary Ruth Garner, 80, of Mountain Home, formerly of Osceola passed away February 25, 2022 at Hiram Shaddox Health and Rehab in Mountain Home. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Ms. Garner was born November 25, 1941 in Luxora to Leon "Spud" Foreman and Mary Lou Smithey Foreman Crumley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Garner, Sr., one son Brandon Garner, one stepson James Michael Garner and one brother Wilburn Wayne Foreman. She is survived by two sons James M. Garner, Jr. (Vickie Terry) of Mountain Home and Jerry Wayne Garner (Naya) of Castle Rock, CO, one stepdaughter Cynthia Garner Prewitt of Leland, IL, two brothers James "Dago" Foreman and Charles Foreman (Janice) of Gamaliel, one sister Linda Thomas of Luxora, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 1-2 with the funeral at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, AR with Linda Thomas officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge of arrangements.
