Martha Ruth Andrews, 83, of Alton, IL passed away June 7, 2022 at River Crossing of Alton Nursing Home in Alton, IL.  She was a housewife and of the Christian Faith.  Mrs. Andrews was born November 2, 1938 in Corinth, MS to Elmer and Minnie Cobb Davis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Andrews, two sons Larry F. Andrews, Bobby Wayne Andrews, two brothers William Davis, JR Davis and two sisters Bee Green and Jennie Davis.  She is survived by two sons Kenneth Andrews of East Alton, IL, James A. Andrews of Granite, IL, two daughters Patricia Jeriwski of Chicago, IL, Cathey Oxford of Granite City, IL, one sister Jean Cooper of AR, thirty-two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  Visitation was held Friday June 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with the funeral following at 1:00 PM.  Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, AR with Pastor Robert Burkett officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR is in charge of arrangements.
