Marie Harris, aged 92, passed away on July 30, 2024, at Harris Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Osceola, Arkansas. Marie was born on June 14, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Luther Coleman and Tempie Kennel

Marie is survived by her husband, Willie Harris of St. Louis, MO; daughter: Dorothy Jackson, also of St. Louis; stepchildren: Charles and Brenda Harris Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will deeply miss her. Notably, she leaves behind Maurice Lamonte Burks (Chanda), Ramondre Burks, Tonya Burks, Kelly Burks, Trina Spencer Burks, Oneka Leaks, Dion Colvin, Willie Harris III, Vanessa Harris, and Beverly Harris Foote; as well as her devoted niece, Emma Chase Murray, along with a host of other family members mourn her passing.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Coleman and Tempie Kennel; two sons: Charles Burks Jr. and Ronald Burks; daughter: Shirley Ann Marie Burks; stepchildren: Mildred Harris Coleman and Willie Harris; grandchildren: Marvin Burks, Charles Harris, Jr., Melvin Harris, and Mariea Harris; and brothers, Claude Chase, Thurman Chase, Alonzo Chase, and Leroy Coleman.

A visitation for Marie will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1323 W. Keiser Ave., Osceola, AR 72370. The funeral service will commence at 2:00 pm the same day. The committal will follow at Whiteside Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR, is assisting the family during this difficult time.
