Lucille Alice Banks passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 101. She was born on June 30, 1924, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to John Alfred and Lillian Davis Pittman. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband A.A. "Shug" Banks and one son Brett Banks. Lucille is survived by one son Chuck and Nancy Banks of Little Rock, Arkansas formerly of Mississippi County, daughter in law Mary Lois Banks of Mississippi County, three grandchildren Rafe Banks of Marion, Arkansas, Elizabeth Mills of Wynne, Arkansas and Stephanie Bynum of Little Rock, Arkansas, five great grandchildren Charles John Banks of Marion, Arkansas, Wilson, Liza and Margaret Bynum of Little Rock, Arkansas and John Stephen Mills of Wynne, Arkansas, one niece Rui Haagen of Colorado Springs, Colorado and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at Bassett Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
