Lila Jean Bailey, 84, of West Memphis, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family, on August 21, 2025, just a few hours after what would have been her 66th wedding anniversary with beloved husband, Otto who awaited her arrival at the gates.

Lila was born on December 19, 1940, to Charles and Fannie Oakes. She married the love of her life, Otto Bailey Sr on August 20, 1959. Together, they ran their own CB shop, detail shop and truck wash businesses for almost 40 years in West Memphis, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. As well as her beloved husband, Otto, her son, Fred, her granddaughter, Ashley Bailey and her great grandson, Chance Lung.

Left to cherish her memory are; her son, Otto Bailey Jr of West Memphis, AR, her daughters; Nancy Bailey of Marion, AR and Wanda (Kevin) Lee of East Memphis, TN. Her grandchildren; Otto Allen Bailey III of Marion, AR, Fallon (Bo) Caster of Cumberland City, TN, Zac McCollum of Marion, AR, Collin Carpenter of Memphis, TN, Megan Bailey (Chad) of West Memphis, AR and Conner Carpenter of Memphis, TN.  Her great grandchildren; Phillip and Bryant Pollard of West Memphis, AR, Kara Caster of Marked Tree, AR, Jaxson and Oliver Bailey of Lakeland, TN, Ansley, Adrian and Amelya Beeler of West Memphis, AR and Josie Carpenter of Memphis, TN.  As well as many cherished family members in Kentucky, Michigan and Alabama.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 1:00p.m. directly followed by funeral services at 2:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Tyronza, officiated by her long-time beloved friend, Clayton Adams.

Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Zac McCollum, Collin Carpenter, Conner Carpenter, Chad Beeler, Bo Caster and Bryant Pollard.
