Juanita Thomas was born March 5, 1948 in Turrell, AR to Sidney and Everlina Jones Buford. She was a retired factory worker, a member of Princess Chapel in Osceola and the motherboard. Ms. Thomas passed away March 17, 2023 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Anderson Thomas, three brothers Sidney Buford, Jr., Roosevelt Buford and Castelle Buford, four sisters Shirley Ann Buford, Vera Jean Buford, Evonne Williams and Bernice McNeal. She is survived by three sons Rodney Keith Thomas of Joiner, Gerald (Martricia) Thomas of Blytheville and Jackie Lee (Consuela) Thomas of Wilson, two daughters Tina (Albert) Brown and Juanita Lee Thomas of Osceola, one brother MacArthur Buford of Wyomie, MS, 13 grandchildren, a host of great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1-2PM with the funeral at 2PM at Princess Chapel in Osceola. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Evadale with Rev. Robert Ousley officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.
