Johnnie Loyd Johnson Sr., 66, of Manila, AR, passed away on February 8, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1957, in Manila, AR to William and Edna Johnson. Johnnie was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Johnnie is survived by his wife, Freedia Johnson, of the home; his son, Johnnie Johnson Jr., of Manila, AR; his brother, Harold Johnson, of Carroll's Corner, AR; his sister, Gearldean Hicks, of Orrick, MO; his two granddaughters, Chloe and Kaitlon Johnson; and his great-grandson, David Shepperson III.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his father, William A. Johnson, and his mother, Edna Johnson.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the People of Praise Pentecostal Church, located at 109 E. 9th Street, Leachville, AR. The funeral service will take place at the church on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Bro Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Manila Cemetery.
