Johnnie Mae Brown, 67, of Joiner, passed away on September 25, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  She was a retired factory worker, choir member and a member of Mt. Pisby M.B. Church in Joiner.  Mrs. Brown was born August 17, 1954 in Osceola to W.T. and Arnette Waterford Mitchell.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Steve Mitchell, one daughter Faberlene Brown, two brothers Charles Mitchell and Larry Mitchell.  She is survived by her husband Johnny Brown of Joiner, one son Christopher Johnson of Joiner, one daughter Erica Brown of Joiner, four brothers Freddie Mitchell of Evansville, IN, Gary Mitchell of Joiner, Howard Waterford of Jonesboro, Augusta Mitchell of Indianapolis, IN, one sister Betty Jean Rogers of Blytheville, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Visitation will be Friday October 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.  Funeral services will be Saturday October 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.  Burial will be at First Baptist Frenchman Bayou Cemetery in Frenchman Bayou, AR with Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge of arrangements.
