John Edward "Buck" Beecham, 67, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away on June 8, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.  He was born on August 1, 1956, in Driver, Arkansas to Thomas and Pearlie Mae Beecham. He accepted Christ at an early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J.H. Robinson, where he served as a choir member. "Buck" graduated from Rivercrest High School in 1975 and was one heck of a basketball player. He was a long-time employee of the Balton Family in Wilson, AR. During his leisure time, he could be found fishing, cooking, making others laugh by telling jokes, purchasing lottery tickets, at the casino, or operating as "The Friendly Cab".

He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Pearlie Mae Beecham; 8 brothers: Thomas JR (Bubba) Beecham, Leroy (Fat) Beecham, Melvin (Coochie) Beecham, Joe Beecham, James (Randy) Beecham, Clarence White, Charlie B. Thomas, and William Holiday; 4 sisters: Ruthie Welch, Queen Anderson, Mary Pendleton, and Essie K. Windmon.
He leaves to cherish his memories 3 brothers: Terry and Jerry Beecham, both of Osceola, AR, and Carl (Loretta) Beecham of Little Rock, AR; four sisters: Georgia Tyler of Tinley Park, IL, Evelyn (Tony) Harris of Toledo, OH, Jessie Cole of Osceola, AR, ad Nancy (JT) Yankaway of Blytheville, AR; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, Osceola, AR, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. The committal service will take place at Whiteside Cemetery, Osceola, AR.
