John Carroll Barber, 78, of Marion, Arkansas, passed away on April 21, 2024. He was born on November 29, 1945, in Frankfurt, Kentucky, to the late John Riley Barber and Alice Neale Barber.

John was a retired Production Manager for Hino Motors and held a Bachelor's Degree from Memphis State University. He was a Sunday school teacher, master gardener, an avid fisherman, and a lifelong Memphis Tigers Fan. John was known for his dedication to his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Barber of Marion, AR, two daughters Gina (Todd) Dunaway of Memphis, TN and Tiffany (Ken) Kennemore of Blytheville, AR, one sister Renee (Ronald) Pierce of Houston, TX, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 2137 AR-77, Marion, AR. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. James Nichols Jr. and Dr. Clay Hallmark. A private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Marion Missions.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
