Joann Edwards, 85, of Osceola passed away December 29, 2021 at Three River Nursing Home in Marked Tree.  She was a housewife and a member of Faith Chapel in Osceola.  Ms. Edwards was born October 31, 1936 in Selmer, TN to Dalton Tacker and Annie Ray Vinson White.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence B. Edwards, one son Terry Lynn Edwards, one daughter Shirley Bankston Edwards, one brother Carl Max Tacker, three sisters Connie Irene Austin, Mary Ruth Ashley and Margret White.  She is survived by five sons James R. Tacker of Luxora, Carl E. (Joi) Roaten of Byhalia, MS, Jimmy D. (Deborah) Roaten of Osceola, Larry Edwards of Jonesboro, Brandon Edwards of Manila, one daughter Vickie Griffin of Osceola, one brother Curtis Nelson Tacker of Luxora, one sister Diane Northcutt of Manila, twelve precious grandchildren and a host of loving great grandchildren.  Memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
