Jessie Ray Dorsey was born December 6, 1957, in Earle, AR to the late Robert Dorsey and the late Viola Dorsey. He passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Dorsey, his mother Viola Dorsey, his wife Florence Dorsey, three brothers Robert Dorsey, Bordy Dorsey, and B.B. Owens, and two sisters Betty Owens and Milinda Franklin. He is survived by one son Jessie Dorsey, Jr. (and fiancé Tonya Mendoza Garcia) of Hartsville, TN, two brothers Climmie (Glenda) Dorsey of Gary, IN and Cleo Dorsey of Alexandria, LA, six sisters Gracie Golden of West Memphis, AR, Mae H. Jackson, Ethel Dorsey, Roberta Goins, Priscilla Lewis, and Luella Brown all of Blytheville, AR, two aunts Rosie Myers of St. Louis, MO and Mamie Williams of Elgin, IL, one uncle James B. Dorsey of Elgin, IL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR, with the funeral immediately following at 10:00 A.M, with Dr. Moses Black officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, AR,. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville, AR.
