James Max Simpson was born June 30, 1953 in Gilmore, AR to Donald and Helen Kate Burks Simpson. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Simpson passed away August 3, 2022 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Don Simpson, two sisters Peggy Longcar and Maggie Simpson. He is survived by his wife Lisa Simpson of Tyronza, AR, two sons Steven Davis of Independence, KS and James Davis of Trumann, AR, two daughters Patricia Davis of Memphis, TN and Rebecca Simpson of Windfield , AL, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2022 from 11 AM - 1 PM with the funeral at 1PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR will be in charge of services.
