James Dean Grider, 62, of Wilson, passed away April 11, 2025, at his home.  He was employed at SMC in Osceola, and was of the Baptist Faith.  James was born November 10, 1962, in East St. Louis, Missouri, to James "Jimmy" Grider and Janice Manning.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his step-father, Paul Manning of Granite City, Illinois; his wife, Mary Grider of Wilson; two sons: Brandon (Crystal) Grider of Wilson, and Joshua (Morgan) Grider of Manila; three brothers: David Grider, Jimmy Grider, and Michael Grider all of Cohokia, Illinois; three sisters: Lisa Grider of Louisiana, Gina McGuirt of Jonesboro, and Paula Price of Kentucky; and two grandchildren: Marla Abigail Grider and Ruth Elizabeth Grider both of Wilson.  Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola will be in charge of the direct cremation.
