James Edward Gregory, age 80, died at his home in Trumann, Arkansas on Sunday, February 16, 2025.  He was born on September 19, 1944, in Trumann, to the late E.M. and Ola Gregory. James was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church in Trumann.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by one brother: Billy Ray Gregory.

James leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Karen Gregory, with whom he shared his home; two sons: Larry Gregory of Trumann, AR, and Jerry (Amber) Ashby of Belle Vista, AR; three daughters: Anna (Randy) Blagg of Trumann, AR, Kathy (Paul) Lindsey and Tracy (Mike) Williams, both of Weiner, AR; one sister: Carolyn (Larry) Mealer of Jonesboro, AR; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren with two more expected to arrive in the next few months.

The family will receive visitors at Central Missionary Baptist Church in Trumann, AR on Saturday, February 22, 2025, 1:00-2:00 pm.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro Blake Jamison officiating.  James will then be laid to rest at Harrisburg Memorial Park in Harrisburg, AR.  Wilson Funeral Home, Tyronza, Arkansas is in charge of all services.
