Mr. Gregory Fitzgerald Matthews, age 61, passed away on November 8, 2025, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He was born on July 31, 1964, in Monticello, Arkansas to Mr. William Matthews and Mrs. Excie Darrough Matthews.

Greg Matthews was a proud United States Army Officer and Veteran who faithfully served his country.

He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Matthews.

• One grandchild,: Grayson Matthews of Milwaukee, WI.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville, Arkansas from 1:00–2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at Memory Gardens.

Pastor Clark Phillips of New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church will officiate the services.

Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
