Gloria Dean White Wicks, 62, of Osceola, passed away February 6, 2023 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a nursing home Dietician and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wicks was born March 26, 1960 in Memphis, TN to James and Idella Banks Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Charlotte Wicks, three brothers James Burton, Jr., Edward Burton, Sr. and Elijah Burton, one sister Helen Jean Burton and one grandson Quinterrius White. She is survived by her husband Charles Wicks, Jr. of Osceola, four sons Jerry William White, Jr. and Chazaray Gibson of Osceola, Keenan Wicks of Muskegon, MI and Rueben Quinn of Memphis, TN, three daughters Shadonna White, Beachula Burton and Charlotte White of Osceola, two brothers Charles (Charlene) Henry Burton and Larry (Carolyn Ingram) Ross, Sr. of Madison, WI, three sisters Latasha (Jackie) Thomas of Wilson, Mae Kay (Andrew) Smith and Irene Burton of Joiner, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 12-2 PM with the funeral at 2 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola and Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. A cremation will follow. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.
