Gladys Lucille Pipes, 91, of New Albany, MS passed away July 21, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in New Albany, MS.  She was a retired CNA and of the Pentecostal Faith.  Ms. Pipes was born February 2, 1931 in Nettleton, MS to Elvin and Ludie Bell Brown Burch.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jappie Pipes, two sons Jerry Orr, Michael Pipes, one daughter Pamela Moore, three brothers and four sisters.  She is survived by one son James Orr of Welaka, FL, one daughter Debra Ann Sarris of New Albany, MS, one brother David Burch of Welaka, FL, three sisters Ty Carter of FL, Becky Gerber of CA, Kitty Poling of IN, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Monday July 25, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral to follow at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.  Burial will be Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR with Rev. James Steele officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR is in charge of arrangements.
