Fay Smith, 87, of Texarkana, TX formerly of Etowah, passed away May 10, 2022 at her home. She had an Associates Degree, was a retired bookkeeper for Missco and Manila School Systems. Ms. Smith was born June 23, 1934 in Bassett, AR to Arthur Bell and Ocie Lee Rogers Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Smith. two brothers Joe Simpson and Wayne Simpson, three sisters Ivy Hudson, Katie Mason and Lilly Millirons. She is survived by two sons Richard (Mary) Smith of Lost Cane, AR and Jerry (Tommye) Smith of Texarkana, TX, one daughter Teisa (Eugene) Daniel of Manila, AR, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 9 - 10 with the funeral at 10:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR. Burial will be at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah, AR with speakers Greg Simpson, Bo McCullom and Chris Ferrell. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge.
