Elsie Witt, aged 96, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Tyronza, Arkansas. Born on February 1, 1928, to William Frank Smith and Maudie Smith, Elsie lived a life marked by devotion to her family and community.

Elsie is survived by her loving daughters, Annie Chapman and Peggy Eldridge, both of Tyronza, AR; and her sister, Helen Turner of Payneway, AR. She was a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Her life was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Witt; her parents; six brothers, and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR. A funeral service will be conducted immediately afterward at 3:30 pm with Pastor Tommy Jordan officiating. Elsie will be laid to rest at Tyronza Cemetery.
