Edward Earl Hunter, 78, of Killeen, TX, passed away August 4, 2023 at Hillside Medical Lodge in Gatesville, TX. He was born February 10, 1945 in Osceola to Robert and Ada Lou Lattimore Hunter. Mr. Hunter was a retired City Bus Driver in St. Louis, MO and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers John L. Hunter, Curtis Hunter, Sr., Charles Hunter and Paul Hunter, six sisters Doris Edward, Doreatha Hunter, Vernice Davis, Dessie Jefferson, Annie Jo Humble and Maxine Hunter. He is survived by his caregiver (nephew) Chris (Pattina) Bausley of Killen, TX, two nieces Ada Hunter of Little Rock and Yolanda Virgies of Jacksonville and one sister Maudie Byrd of Osceola. Visitation will be Saturday August 19, 2023 from 9-10AM with the funeral at 10AM at Wilson Funeral Home in OSceola, AR. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, AR with Pastor Albert Frazier officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.
