Dorothy Ann Davis passed away September 12, 2026, at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, AR

She was born August 2, 1950, in Frenchman Bayou to James and Emma Mae Barbee.

Dorothy was a college graduate. She attended ANC in Blytheville for an Early Childhood Education degree. Dorothy was the activity director at the community center in Luxora for 25 years. She was a member of Gospel Temple in Luxora.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Sylvester Davis, daughter; LaWanda Davis, brother; James Barbee and sister; Dollie Ann Lockett.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Angela Smith of Luxora, three brothers; Warren Barbee of Marion, Michael Barbee of Blytheville, Jackie Haskin of Detroit, MI, five sisters; Willie Jean Harrell of Luxora, Karen Barbee, Everlin Cummings both of Poria, IL, Lavern Pannell of Blytheville, Sharon Byrd of West Memphis, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation is Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
