DA "Bob" Fain Sr., aged 81, of Winston, OR, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 10, 2024. Born on March 11, 1943, in Etowah, AR, to the late G.C. Fain and Alta Mitchell, DA lived a life full of dedication and service. He worked as an electrician until his retirement and was a devoted member of Renewed Ministries in Winston, OR, as well as a former member of the Church of God in Marked Tree, AR.

DA was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Gail Fain, his son Bobby Fain, his brothers Delbert, Doyle, and David Fain, and his sister Virginia Stafford. He is survived by his wife, Doramay Skillingstad-Fain, his sons Rick Fain and DA (Ashley) Fain Jr, his daughter Brenda (Steven) Irving, his sister Dorothy Norris, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3.5 great-great grandchildren. The family extends a special thank you to Brandi Smith of Roseburg, OR, for her support.

Services for DA Fain Sr. will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Church of God in Marked Tree, AR. Visitation for the family will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by visitation for friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will commence at 2:00 pm, officiated by Bro. Patrick Tucker. Burial will take place at the Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR.
