Cleophus Franklin was born on October 22, 1957, to the late Virgil Lee Franklin. Cleophus accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Church of God in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  Cleophus made his transition on Monday, October 7 2024.

Cleophus enjoyed riding his bike, sitting on the porch listening to music, going to church, and making people laugh.

Cleophus was preceded in death by his mother, Virgil Franklin, his daughter, Kenisha Jenkins, his brother, Donald Ray.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories; one daughter: Darlene Franklin of Brownsville, TN; one son: Jeffery Jenkins of Blytheville, AR; three grandchildren: Amari Franklin, Ja'Lisa Green, and Ja'Liyah Green; two brothers: Bobby Ray of Nebraska and Rickey Franklin of Covington, TN; one sister: Mary Hunter of Brownsville, TN; one aunt: Juanita Stacy;  very special cousins, Dorthy Franklin & Sherika Fuller; a special friend: Roetta Kimble; as well as a host of reletives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at 12:00 noon, at Church of God, 114 Allyn Street, Marked Tree, Arkansas. A memorial service is set to take place at 2:00 pm with Rev. Patrick Tucker officiating.
