Clarence Leroy Hughes, 66, of Osceola, AR, passed away June 2, 2026, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

He was born May 10, 1960, in Keiser, AR, to Charlie Hughes and Rosie Lee Jackson.

Clarence graduated high school, became a CNA, was a US Army vet and of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Barbara Hughes.

Clarence is survived by his son; Sedrick Jones of Tulsa, OK, three daughters; Shunda Jackson of Houston, TX, Shakendra Williams of St. Paul, MN, and Clarissa Hughes of Milwaukee, WI, three brothers; Harold D. Hughes of Osceola, AR, Eddie Jackson of Elgin, IL and Farid Shabazz of Gary, IN, five sisters; Lizzie Hughes, Carolyn Hughes and Cathy Hughes all of Osceola, AR, Tracy Hughes of Little Rock, AR, and Josephine Hughes of Elgin, IL, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild

Visitation for Clarence Hughes will be Saturday, June 20, 2026, 9-10 A.M. with the funeral at 10 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the services and cremation.
