Clarence Mitchell Barkley, 85, of Proctor died August 8, 2021 peacefully at his home surrounded by love ones.  He was a retired mechanic.  Mr. Barkley was born April 28, 1936 in Tupelo, MS to Lee Allen and Ida Mae Malone Barkley.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Raymond, Dud, Marvin and Billy Wayne Barkley, four sisters Marie Trim, Opal Hampton, Margaret Pollan and Dolly Mae Barkley.  He is survived by his wife Betty Barkley of Proctor, four sons Randy Barkley of Mount Olive, MS, Russell Barkley of Hughes, Gary Barkley of Proctor, Trent Barkley of Hughes, one daughter Karen Smart of Bartesville, OK, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  There will be a memorial service at a later date.  Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge.
