Portageville, Missouri - Charlotte Ann Carmichiel, age 59, of Portageville, Missouri, passed away on February 10, 2024. She was born on May 29, 1964, in Osceola, Arkansas, to Thurman and Maggie Thompson. Charlotte was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: David Carmichiel; one grandson: Damon Thompson; three brothers: Jimmy Thompson, Joe Frank Thompson, and Thurman "Pop" Thompson; and two sisters: Betty Huskey and Willie Ashburn.

She is survived by her two sons: Chris (Amy) Thompson of Eagle Butte, SD, and Jeffery (Stephanie) Thompson of Portageville, MO; two daughters: LaDonna (Wesly) Smith of Keiser, AR, and Ashley Hines of Tyronza, AR; two brothers: David Thompson of Marie, AR, and Jerry Dale Thompson of Bassett, AR; and one sister: Sara (Ricky) Cooper of Las Vegas, NV. Charlotte also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 9:00-11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1323 W. Keiser Ave, Osceola, AR 72370. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, also at Wilson Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating.
