Bertha Lee Newmy of Blytheville, AR was born July 19, 1924, in Mississippi to the late Charlie Moore and the late Ellen Lee Moore. She was a homemaker and was a member of New St. Paul M.B. Church where she was on the Motherboard. Mrs. Newmy passed away on October 25, 2021, at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, AR at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her father Charlie Moore, her mother Ellen Moore, her husband Rev. Jimmy Lee Newmy, two brothers L.T. Moore and Howard Ray Moore, her sister Pauline Clay, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by four sons Jerry (Erma) Newmy of Milwaukee, WI, Jimmy Newmy, Jr. and Joe (Bertha) Newmy both of Blytheville, AR and Samuel (Francine) Newmy of IL, three daughters Lena Newmy of Milwaukee, WI, and Dorothy (Pastor Donald) Jenkins and Jurlene (Don) Blair both of Blytheville, AR, a special grandchild raised as a son Jerry Newmy, Jr., twenty nine grandchildren, fifty five great-grandchildren, twenty nine great-great-grandchildren and two lifelong friends Mrs. Mary Atterberry and Alice Foster both of Blytheville, AR.  The visitation will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at New St. Paul M.B. Church in Blytheville, AR, with the funeral immediately following at 10:00 A.M., with Pastor Clark Phillips officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, AR.
