Artha Faye Finch Adams, age 73, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on November 23, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas, she lived a life rooted in faith and family.

Artha was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and found strength and guidance through her spiritual beliefs. Her life was marked by resilience and love for those around her. She shared many years of companionship with her husband, Jessie Adams of Blytheville, Arkansas. Together they built a life filled with enduring bonds and cherished memories. Artha proudly attended Harrison High School as a member of the class of 1972.

Artha is also remembered by her loving sisters: Anita Gardner of Kennett, Missouri; Sandra Finch of Wynne, Arkansas; and Ruby Lee Hinton of Little Rock, Arkansas. Her aunt Annie Anderson of San Francisco, California also mourns her passing.

She was the proud mother to her son Gary Hayward of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Artha's legacy continues through her seven grandchildren: Terrika (Craig) Smith, Kyia Hayward, Kevion Hayward, Jakobe Hayward, David Meadow, Dewayne Meadows, and Trolvailous Larry; as well as three great-grandchildren: Da'Yonna Meadows, DaJanek Meadows, and Divine Meadows
She now joins in eternal rest her beloved daughter Tammy Meadows; her parents Arthur Lewis Finch and Willie Mae Finch; three brothers—Larry Finch, Christopher Finch, and Augustus Finch; one sister—Arthur Mae Finch; and one grandchild—Delvin Meadows.

A funeral service honoring Artha's life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Rev. Dinah L. Tatman of St. John AME Church in Kennett Missouri will officiate the ceremony. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens in Blytheville.

Artha Faye Adams will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and peace to those who mourn her passing.
