Almeda Delois Marshall, 73, of Jonesboro, Ar, passed away September 9, 2026, at Phil and Flo Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.

She was born March 2, 1953, to James Thomas and Ruthie Merritt.

Almeda was a High School graduate, factory worker at Viscase and a member of New St. John M.B. Church in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Roy Marshall, daughter; Tamela Harris and sister; Patricia Newsom.

Almeda is survived by two sons; Christopher Harris of Trumann, AR and Rashaud Marshall of Clarksville, TN, one daughter; Lashonda Hughes of Jonesboro, AR, three brothers; Julius Merritt of Osceola, AR, Danny Merrit of Kennett, MO, and Michael Merritt of Joiner, AR one sister; Myra Kimbrough of Blytheville, AR, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and  many friends.

Visitation is Friday, September 18, 2026, 6-8 PM, Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral is Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10 AM, New St. John M.B. Church in Jonesboro.

Interment is at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the arrangements.
