Alexander "AJ" Dewitt Smith was born April 1, 1996, to Alexander Smith Sr and Rosalind Smith in Blytheville, AR. At the age of 26 AJ passed away on December 29,2022 in Aurora, Colorado. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He survived by his parents Alexander Smith Sr of Decatur, AL and Rosalind Smith of Madison, AL; one daughter Zariah Smith of Denver, CO; four sisters Chera Thomas of Baytown, TX, Charlotte Smith of Decatur, AL, Preshonda and Kreshonda Smith of Catonsville, MD; his grandmother Margaret Vample of Farmington Hills, MI and his great grandmother Mary Atterberry of Blytheville, AR.
A visitation service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 5PM-7PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Prince of Peace at 2PM with Bishop Roy Davis officiating. The burial will follow afterwards at Memory Gardens in Blytheville, AR. Wilson Funeral Home will conduct services.
