Mrs. Adeline Patsy Smith, 86, of Joiner, AR, passed away on May 24, 2025, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice in Collierville, TN.  She was born October 2, 1938, in Joiner, AR to the late Willie Hassell, Jr. and Mamie Jones Hassell.  She retired from American Greetings after 35 years and was also a retired CNA.  Mrs. Smith was a member of the First Baptist Church in Joiner, AR.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Tommy Smith, Jr., one son, Jerry Smith, four brothers, Mathias, Willie, Charlie, and Johnny Hassell, and two sisters, Christobel Andrews and Elsie Mae Bradley.  Mrs. Smith is survived by one son, Tommy Smith III of Madison, WI, two daughters, Brenda Delaney and Selena Smith both of Joiner, AR, one brother, James Lewis Hassell of Madison, WI, two sisters, Dotsie Long of Memphis, TN, Emma Jean Johnson of Madison, WI, five grand children, and nine great grandchildren.  Her visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR and her funeral will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church in Joiner, AR with Bro. Gary Andrews, officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola, AR will be in charge of the services.
